Welcome to Wren Classics

Seems that Storm Bert has removed most of the lovely leaves from the trees and deposited them on the roads and elsewhere. Wet leaves are slippery, watch out! The salt is also being spread on the roads now, which does it job to get rid of the ice but it is a classic car's worst enemy as it is THE main reason cars rust. Try and keep your classic car in the garage, and your daily run around clean and all that salt washed off especially underneath.

Here is a rare sight, a Datsun 260z in beautiful condition, clearly never driven when there is salt on the roads!!

Here is a lovely 924 Porsche that has been through the workshop and is now ready for some fun!

Here is a traffic jam in our yard we though you might appreciate!!

And here is the latest restoration project for us:

This was imported from the US so rust free. Got to love a TR4a

Should keep the team busy for a few days!

We took a customer's beautiful and rather special low mileage DB7 to the Aston Martin Heritage DB7 Celebration at Gaydon on 31/8/24.

It was a great day and a great oppportunity to rub shoulders with other DB7 owners and afcianados.

Aston Martin specialists who have the expertise to restore all classic vehicles.

Here is a DB2/4 just restored by us and picked up on 19/4/24:

This is a DB4 that was restored by us in 2023.

Based in Shaftesbury in Dorset we are ideally placed for customers from all around the UK.

Over the past decade we have built up a great reputation for restoration and routine service on all models of Aston Martin. We have experience in the early DB's, DB2, DB4, DB5 and DB6, up to the more modern Aston Martin DB7,DB9, DBS 6 cylinder and V8; we have also raced many of these models, so we know a thing or two about making them work as they were meant to.

Wren Classic Aston Martin Specialists in Dorset was the idea of Steve Farthing, a motoring enthusiast and experienced race driver. A perfectionist, who wants his exacting standards to be carried over to every car that comes into the workshops. Steve Farthing started racing Karts at an early age and progressed through the different formulas including Mallock U2's, working closely with the late Arthur Mallock. He raced Super Ford 2000 in the late 1970's using Adrian Reynards chassis, driving for the European Reynard Dealer and then onto Formula Super Vee. Today Steve Farthing can be seen racing many great classic cars in Historic Racing all over the UK and Europe.

We have customers with a variety of cars including; Aston Martin, Jaguar, Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, De Tomaso, Rolls Royce, Bentley. Our customers with race cars deal through our race preparartion department called Wrensport.

Please contact us to discuss any car restoration or car servicing that you may require, callers are always welcome to have a look around our workshop, but please phone ahead to ensure Steve is available to spend some time with you.
